maybe he will he spend most of the rest of the year abroad now. perhaps he’ll go to his country retreat in buckingham where he can get a bit of privacy as well as rest and time with his family.

have you noticed how much blair is travelling around these days on sat he was in yalta then sunday morroco then the postponed visit to gaza next day ramallah wed madrid thurs united arab emirates friday norway .according to several press.i hope he has a nice long holiday soon he needs the rest and time to spend with his family.

free speech is necessary but with it comes responsibility to write with those who might read it in mind which on the internet is so important as you don’t know WHO might read it and how they might react to it.that is what people like jacob can’t or won’t seem to understand

i think its disgusting that people can write such things as how to kill a westerner without any control on what people can read. free speech is one thing and i’m not against free speech but advocating murder for that is what it is is another.and extremely dangerous. i notice the press talk about the so called war crimes of blair but say nothing about what these islamists are putting on the web which is just is bad if not worse.the idea of all faiths working together is great and may eventually destroy these islamists by giving the young a new idea of how religion can and should work helping one another not destroying humankind.

We'll see, Grundoon. Meanwhile he might like to know that I welcome the multi-religion meeting which is taking place in Spain presently. I have no problem with ANYONE'S religion as long as they have ground rules which do NOT impact upon the democratic wills of the people. And I DO understand that democracy isn't all a one-size-fits-all. But whichever size it is, and however well it fits, democracy is there for ALL of us, and not just those who are "religious". I am still awaiting the day when a Muslim leader (if there IS such a person) makes a statement which questions some of the tenets of Islam. Until then, I remain a secular Christian soldier! On guard.

I think you mean an “Islamaphobe”. An “anti-Islamaphobe” is a double negative!

Sorry, to be so pedantic, but I do like to get things right. That’s why I have this site.

Just so that you understand, I am NOT saying that ALL Muslims are against me/us. Just that Islamists are. Islamists put their political religion above ALL else including democracy. They identify with NO country, only with their brothers & sisters in Islam and their shared ambition of a worldwide caliphate. They regard democracy as unnecessary. So that people like me, who admit to not being particularly religious (I am NOT Tony Blair) would have no place in their world.

[Oh, and by the way, other religious people who are not yet Muslims, would have to convert in a caliphate. Or presumably they're for the high jump]
