WILLIAM Hague, I mean, of course
(I leave mention of “Blair to the Hague” to the politically challenged, somewhat deranged and presently panicking hangers ‘n’ floggers at The Guardian.)
But I DID enjoy this when it happened in the Commons in January 2008, and it is well worth a re-run in the light of current rumours.
Gordon’s EU Nightmare by William Hague
If you don’t find this amusing, from the former Tory leader who admitted that despite scoring a few hits on Blair he still couldn’t score at the ballot box against THE MAN, then you take politics far too seriously.
Brilliant stuff.
As for Tony? This to the lot of them -

So, why not tell us what you REALLY think, Mr Blair?
Looks like he has already gone (EU) native.
(Explanation to my foreign readers: two fingers is the tradional indication of dismissal and contempt in Britain, palm towards the body, opposite of the Churchill ‘V’ sign. Continental Europeans use the above.)
With thanks to The Scotsman for this. I haven’t entered their caption competition. It’s all too evident what I’d suggest.

Nearly all the brainless wonders at The Cif pages. “Comment is Free”? No bloody wonder. Who’d pay to write or read the ramblings of such a crowd of w**k**s?
This is London says Tories will try to block this. Wonder why?

Well then let them hate Tony Blair but let it be because he is a good person in a bad world and bad always hates good.

“because he is a good person in a bad world”
WE know that, but THEY don’t. They even think it is the other way round, courtesy of press innuendo and lies.
I know I am speaking to the converted here, Caela on the corrupting powers of the press.
