PAKISTAN “MASSACRE” of 98 Ahmadi Muslims BY MUSLIMS!

While the greatest number of its followers are in Pakistan and India, Ahmadis have a presence in many European countries, such as Britain, where the religion’s fifth and current spiritual head, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, resides.

There is something unbalanced, intentional or not, about an individual or an international community which carelessly describes as a “massacre”  the deaths of nine in the Gaza/Israel incident while innocent Pakistanis die in their scores at the hands of “Muslims” and the world’s outrage is comparatively mute. Dot-joining is too uncomfortable for some.

Diplomatic sources in Ankara have said at least four of those killed were Turkish, and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israel of a “bloody massacre”.

Was the Turkish Prime Minister yelling “massacre” over the deaths of these 98 two days earlier? Is Pakistani blood not as red as Turkish? Does Erdogan understand the meaning of “massacre”?

“Nearly 100 innocents were massacred in Lahore, Pakistan when orthodox members of a religion staged a brutal grenade and suicide assault on two houses of worship full of people who don’t believe exactly the way they do. Can you guess the religion?”

Before I go on about why some persecuted Muslims and some not so persecuted walk among us here in Britain and presumably are made to feel welcome in our green and pleasant land, regulars here will know that I had no real idea which party to vote for in our recent general election.  My main concern – that Islamist fundamentalism is being given an easy ride in my country and the west in general – was not addressed by any of the three main parties. Two of those parties, Conservatives & Labour, saw how the Guardianistos and their like crucified Tony Blair for trying to deal with the issue. So, preferring to avoid his fate and an early political “death”, they all avoided it.  Leadership was there none.  The third party – the infantile Liberal Cleggites – have always denied there is a problem in that area. Now The Infantiles are part of our government, FGS. We can only hope that responsibility will open their shuttered eyes.

With reference to those who killed the 98 in Lahore last week, have any of the world’s outraged “leaders” screamed blue murder about this? Presumably their brain cells tell them that these deaths and those listed here, below and in the daily updating totaliser above were all the fault of Mr Blair (and Mr Bush, of course.) Their cognitive dissonance or rather intellectually compromised political cowardice are disgraceful.

Here’s one example of why I use this language.

Then on Friday morning, attackers with bombs and firearms targeted houses of worship in Lahore belonging to the Ahmadi sect, a persecuted religious group. The death toll stood at 98, officials said Saturday, and dozens more were wounded in the attacks.

[Hat tip here – CNN – on Pakistan attacks which killed 98. See picture above.]

Ahmadis regard themselves as Muslim, but the government says they aren’t, and many Muslim extremists have targeted them. Sunni and Shiite Muslims say Ahmadis are not Muslim because they do not regard Mohammed as the last prophet sent by God.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, a nongovernmental organization, deplored the attacks and said it had warned the Punjab provincial government about threats to the Ahmadi community center in Model Town for more than a year. Lahore is the capital of Punjab province.

The movement was founded in 1889. Its followers believe that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who lived between 1835 and 1908, was sent by God as a prophet “to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace,” the worldwide Ahmadi group says.

Akram Naeem, spokesman for the Punjab police, said the attackers are terrorists from the Waziristan tribal region of Pakistan, where the Pakistani Taliban group maintains a strong presence.

Mirza Masroor Ahmad lives in London, the capital of MY country! WHY?

Interior Minister Rehman Malik said there had been intelligence earlier in the month that an attack could happen in Lahore and that Punjab police did take some steps to react.

Obvious really. For a start, here we don’t kill people of any religion or none because of their beliefs or lack of. That’s that dreadful liberal democracy for you.

Secondly, such as Mirza Masroor Ahmad needs somewhere calm and reasonably civilised to prepare for the Kaliphate. In Britain we’re happy to  help him along that path.

    WHAT’S IN A NAME, Ahmad?

The Ahmadiyya movement was founded in 1889, but the name Ahmadiyya was not adopted until about a decade later. In a manifesto dated November 4, 1900, Ghulam Ahmad explained that the name did not refer to himself but to Ahmad, the alternative name of the prophet Muhammad. According to him, ‘Muhammad’, which means ‘the most praised one’, refers to the glorious destiny, majesty and power of the prophet who adopted the name from about the time of the Hegira; but ‘Ahmad’, an Arabic elative form which means ‘highly praised’ and also ‘comforter’, stands for the beauty of his sermons, for the qualities of tenderness, gentleness, humility, love and mercy displayed by Muhammad, and for the peace that he was destined to establish in the world through his teachings. According to Ghulam Ahmad, these names thus refer to two aspects or phases of Islam and in later times it was the latter aspect that commanded greater attention.[19]

Accordingly, in Ghulam Ahmad’s view, this was the reason that the Old Testament prophesied a Messenger ‘like unto Moses’ referred to as Mohammad, while according to the Qur’an, Jesus foretold of a messenger named Ahmad.[Qur’an 61:6]

In keeping with this, he believed, his object was to defend and propagate Islam globally through peaceful means, to revive the forgotten Islamic values of peace, forgiveness and sympathy for all mankind and to establish peace in the world through the spiritual teachings of Islam. He believed that his message had special relevance for the Western world, which, he believed, had descended into materialism.[20]

19… sorry, 9 ‘boat people’ died. Yes. And your point is?

Their point is that they have the world’s ears. They will hammer home the ‘illegitimacy’ of Israel’s position (and very existence even) while ignoring how their own religion is destroying the world in its various guises. They never ask themselves this:

    • Which religion suicide-bombs innocents weekly, even daily? (Oh yes. OURS.)
    • When was the last time Israel ‘massacred’ innocents? (Apart from the alleged murder of our brother, the innocent Hamas operative.)
    • What do we really care about Human Rights, when Allah knows what is right? (Or does he?)
    • Why do we need democracy? Look what it has done to the west. (How do I get asylum?)
    • When are we going to get a grip on our wayward “religion”? (Allah knows!)

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival.

“There may be even a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than live as slaves.”
