ANDREW MARR TO INTERVIEW BLAIR ON 1st SEPTEMBER
It is clear what irritates much of the British press about Tony Blair; his inconsiderate habit of breathing.
But that temporary setback aside, more disconcerting for troof seekers is Blair’s really irritating tendency to ignore the media.
Like all bullies and liars, the press hate to be ignored.
And they’re running out of descriptive words, now that he’s no longer supplying them with triggers.
Since the long-established press, intelligentsia and literati positions of using any news on Mr Blair as an excuse to re-load their guns, the former prime minister is being very choosy about speaking to any of them.
But, it seems that the BBC’s Andrew Marr is the chosen one. That’ll disappoint those who’d rather have had Paxman or Humphrys doing the incisions. On the other hand touchy-feely Marr might just get Blair to break down as the BBC broadcaster seemed to do when he interviewed Alastair Campbell almost seven months ago.
Emotional collapse from Blair?
Don’t hold your breath, littlies.

A recent comment from an Albanian, Mr Leonard Dedej from Tirana – “It takes big leaders to make the hardest turns in peoples life…mr Blair is a big leader and a great man for millions of people in Balkans!!!for stopping a savage war!about Iraq I believe that the press wherever it is has not the right to judge on this issue because it simply is to small to judge!!history will judge mr Blair!as long as it is an ongoing war no one can blame mr Blair, after all he started something for a big reason..the press its often wrong because it fights for audience!!!”
