Former female bodyguard of Muammar al-Gadaffi says, “If I were still his bodyguard, I would kill him myself”
ASIDE: ARE OUR JOURNALISTS SAFE IN LIBYA?
Watching the television news on this – it’s Sky which is fleeter of foot than the BBC – it strikes me that some of our journalists might be advised to get out of there, or get armed. One of the female reporters on Sky tonight, Lisa Holland, who always says her reports are being monitored by Gaddafi’s people, told us about being invited to a meeting by Gaddafi’s officials where they were led to believe Gaddafi himself would talk to them. He didn’t. He wasn’t there.
This man is very dangerous and completely unpredictable. It would not be beyond him to ‘disappear’ a few western journalists or even use some as hostages.
After watching the Memri video above, where Aziza Ibrahim tells how Gaddafi had 17 students shot and 4 hanged, I suggest our journos get bodyguards ASAP or get out of Libya, especially Tripoli. I may not always be on the side of our journalists but they should not be expected to put their lives at risk to keep us up to date on this operation in Libya.
Gaddafi in phone call to Libyan TV has threatened to attack military and civilian targets in the Mediterranean.

I am staggered by all the hate directed towards our former Prime Minister. I believe that Tony Blair made the Iraq decision in good faith and is most certainly NOT a war criminal. If anyone should be tried at the Hague it should be those in the media for totally misrepresenting the information and facts. The media are to blame for fuelling this hatred as it is purely driven by them. (UK)
