‘What Islam Is Not’ (Video) – And A Few Questions For Tony Blair

‘WHAT ISLAM IS NOT’
I have been accused from time to time of being a touch too virulent in my posts on Islam. Perhaps so; perhaps not virulent enough. Thus far, I generally hold to the view that it is RADICAL FUNDAMENTALIST ISLAMISM that is the danger and not Islam itself. But I also believe that unless non-fundamentalist Muslims take control of their radical, fundamentalist, terrorising elements, my position will be moving; and soon.
Others hold a firmer view. A view that says that Islam itself is intrinsically dangerous because of its construction and instructions. See what you think after watching this.
The numbers quoted on population sizes and its relevance to radical Islam and to the dangers to countries as the Islamic population rises, are certainly worth serious thought. They do seem to extrapolate towards situations which most of us in free democratic lands would, and do, find unacceptable. In that way they are certainly worrying, especially to those of us who consider, not to put too fine a point on it, that democracy is necessary for the survival of freedom.
Much more necessary than religion – ANY religion.
QUESTION TIME FOR MR BLAIR
QUESTION NUMBER 1: WHAT PLACE IN THE WORLD FOR TONY BLAIR’S FAITH FOUNDATION?
You will know that I firmly believe that Mr Blair is a good man; perhaps a historically great man. But even I have some doubts as to how far his Faith Foundation can reach out to radical Islamists.
NO AUTHORITATIVE ISLAMIC BODY WILLING OR ABLE TO DECIDE
Thus far I have not seen any authoritative Islam suggestions regarding modernising their good books. To many of us that it a basic requirement for their religion in the 21st century. Their books are the law in their society(ies). And their law, Sharia, does not and never will, suit western free democracies.
DISOWNING A CALIPHATE
Despite leaving this simple courteous message at many seemingly moderate Islamic sites – “please assure non-Muslims that talk of a caliphate is not serious and will never be considered” – I have NEVER had the courtesy of a reply. And yet a caliphate, worldwide domination, is part of Islamic good books.
Hizb ut-Tahrir (see article from 2003) has no qualms about stating its ambitions for a worldwide caliphate. This group, you will recall, is the group which Tony Blair wanted to ban, but was prevented in so doing by civil righters in Britain and even the police who feared banning it would foment civil unrest.
‘Hizb-ut-Tahir, which is widespread in Central Asia, has told Forum 18 that it aims to introduce a worldwide Caliphate and ban all faiths apart from Islam, Judaism and Christianity, all religious practice being regulated by Sharia law. Buddhism, Hinduism, the Hare Krishna faith and what the party sees as sects within Islam would all be banned. Hizb-ut-Tahir members also explained to Forum 18 that the party would give all non-Muslim states a choice between either joining the Caliphate under Sharia law, or paying a tax to the Caliphate. Failure to pay the tax would be punished by military attacks. The USA, the United Kingdom and Israel were described to Forum 18 as the work of the devil and “European democracy” as “a farce”.’
‘All citizens in the caliphate would have to abide by Sharia law when outside their homes. For example, all women would have to wear long dresses and scarves when in public places. However, Hizb-ut-Tahir members told Forum 18 that in Christian and Jewish quarters women could wear clothes permitted by the laws of their own religion. Christians and Jews would also be allowed to drink alcohol within their own communities, if that was required for religious rituals. Although all citizens of the caliphate would be subject to Sharia law, Christians and Jews could administer justice according to their own laws in what were described as internal matters (i.e. marriage, divorce and the assignment of possessions).’
These are the contact details of Hizb ut-Tahrir in London, according to their website. I understand London is their European HQ.

Hizb ut-Tahrir’s Aim:
‘Exclusive to the Muslim world, our political aim is the re-establishment of the Islamic Caliphate as an independent state – having an elected and accountable ruler, an independent judiciary, political parties, the rule of law and equal rights for minority groups. Citizens of the Caliphate have every right to be involved in politics and accounting the ruler – as the role of the ruler (Khalifah) is that of a servant to the masses, governing them with justice.’
Please remember as you read their words political parties that their books permit, even instruct them to LIE in order to establish their aims.
‘However, unlike most religions, within Islam there are certain provisions under which lying is not simply tolerated, but actually encouraged. The book “The spirit of Islam,” by the Muslim scholar, Afif A. Tabbarah was written to promote Islam. On page 247, Tabbarah stated: “Lying is not always bad, to be sure; there are times when telling a lie is more profitable and better for the general welfare, and for the settlement of conciliation among people, than telling the truth. To this effect, the Prophet says: ‘He is not a false person who (through lies) settles conciliation among people, supports good or says what is good.”‘
In my humble opinion a religious/political state, which is EXACTLY what an Islamic caliphate would be, is NOT compatible with true democracy.
Hizb -ut-Tahrir is banned throughout the world, but not yet, as I understand it, in Australia or Great Britain.

Introduction and welcome by Dr Abdul Wahid, Chairman Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, The Need for Political Unity Conference held in London, 2008
From the video:
He seems to be calling for unity amongst Muslims. He said ‘the disbelieving nations are united and we (Muslims) are not. ‘The fitna on the earth exists for the whole of humanity if we, the Muslims allow ourselves to be divided”. And, “the caliphate is the only way to unite, the only legitimate authority that will vanquish our foes as it did in the past. It will spread justice and goodness throughout the world, not just for the Muslims”.
‘Khilafah’ means ‘caliphate’.
Go here to view and read more about the Flag of the Islamic Khilafah. Unless, you my friends wake up to the threat, our children and grandchildren may see just such a flag over Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.
QUESTION NUMBER 2 FOR MR BLAIR: FAITH OR NO FAITH?
How do you propose, Mr Blair, to bring all religions to the same good place, when Islam itself is such a disparate state of being?
We are not ALL yet convinced, Mr Blair please take note, as to the ability of any entity or any one individual, no matter how gifted or well-meaning, to bring ALL religions to the same civilised, tolerant, inclusive place. If ALL religions had a moderate leader, or one to whose leadership they all subscribed, that would be different. We know Islam is NOT such a religion.
And I have one other concern.
QUESTION NUMBER 3: WHAT EXACTLY DOES A FAITH FOUNDATION SAY TO THOSE OF US WITHOUT FAITH IN A DEITY?
We might be forced to lie about religious belief, in order to survive at all under a caliphate state. And lying about religious belief is no kind of belief.
Just a few little questions. Not too much to ask, I’m sure.
ATHEIST RATIONALE RESPONSE ISLAM’S KHILAFAH CALLS
This video on the Islamic Ontological Philosophy attempts to prove the intellectual superiority of democratic secularism to the khilafah. It supports the philosophy of a social contract in a ‘secular republic’.
‘At 00:53 seconds mujtahid2006 says, “Whether these things exist, that is the supernatural, is not for the discussion of political theory or political systems; the Khilafah is a state, therefore it is not in the remit of the state to be a theological institution.”
I believe a legitimate state requires legitimate philosophy, so the philosophy of the state is for the discussion of political theory and political systems.
This video attempts to prove the intellectual supremacy of Democratic secularism to the Khilafah.
In this speech I use the following words:
Islamic ontological philosophy meaning the Islamic framework of reasoning and thinking i.e. the aqeedah, and the Islamic moral philosophy means the Shariah’
Read an interview, today, with Mohammed Habib, expected to be the next leader of The Muslim Brotherhood
‘Mohammed Habib is slated to become the next Supreme Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.
His rise to the position of deputy supreme leader became possible when his predecessor in the job was sentenced to five years in prison by an Egyptian military tribunal for financing a banned organization — alongside 25 other members of the Muslim Brotherhood — and he ascended to the position. With the advanced age of the current supreme leader, it’s quite possible that Habib will become the next leader of the organization shortly.
The PJM interview with Habib was conducted by Egyptian blogger Sandmonkey in the Leadership Office of the Muslim Brotherhood.’
